****Parents, on Wednesday, March 11, the boys in the class were sent home with information about the puberty class all 5th grade boys will take during our next WOW in a couple of weeks. The school nurse will be teaching this lesson and it occurs every year at this time in all St. Johns County Schools. The girls had this course early this year. All content is age appropriate and I believe all boys should participate. However, if you feel for whatever reason that your child is not ready to learn this information, or you just don't want them to participate, please sign the form and have your child bring it back to school. If you are okay with your child participating, there is no need to send the form back. Thank you!

In ELA- students should be reading for 25 minutes each night and they have a weekly reading log that is due each Friday.
Today the students worked on a project they are doing for Mrs. Barrett. They also played board games, had an extended recess, helped me clean and sanitize the room, and then ended the day with by watching our JCE Variety Show. The show was awesome!
I hope everyone has a great spring break. Please be safe and stay healthy. Please also be on the look out for more emails sent out by the district with information regarding the coronavirus and plans they may have for how they are gong to handle things moving forward.
